At Accent American Inc, we are spot and stain removal experts! We always tell people “If Ken can’t get it clean, throw it out”.  Ken Jordan, one of our owners and our  IICRC Triple Master Certified technician, won the international spot and stain removal contest at our annual trade show so many times, they wouldn’t let him compete anymore!

There is a difference between a “spot” and a “stain”.  A spot you can typically feel, it will be wet, sticky or raised.  A stain is a change of color left behind after cleaning, and these may need professional treatments like the ones we provide here at Accent American Inc to remove them.

Spots come out rather easily with simple cleaning solutions.  On carpets and furniture, use a mild solution of white, non-sudsy ammonia and water, about 1 part ammonia to 4 parts water in a trigger sprayer.  For furniture, ALWAYS do a test clean on a hidden spot before using any type of cleaning solution.
