Cleaning Community Gives Back is an organization made up of professional carpet and upholstery cleaners and other volunteers. The organization was founded in 2018 by Lisa and Ken Jordan, who also own Accent American , Inc, and was started at the urging of one of the supporters of the group that provides cleaning products.

Cleaning Community Gives Back provides free, professional floor and furniture cleaning services to selected charities in Florida. These charities include the Ronald McDonald House Tampa, the Ronald McDonald Houses in St Pete, the Ronald McDonald House Gainesville, the Ronald McDonald Houses in Orlando, the Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville, The Sylvia Thomas Center for Foster and Adoptive Families, , Tampa Crossroads, Oasis Pregnancy Care Center Tampa and Dade City, and most recently, the Hope Children’s Home.

The Ronald McDonald House in Tampa was the first group cleaning project undertaken by the Jordan’s, and pre-covid, the house was cleaned by Accent American along with another company, which changed every couple of years, since 2014. The St Pete Houses have been cleaned as a large group effort annually pre-covid, since 2017, the Gainesville house has been cleaned in 2019 and 2021. The other RMH facilities have had the groups services once so far.

Organizations are selected to receive services at the request of our members. We have a Board of Directors which makes the decision on which organizations to bless with our work. The Board Consists of our Executive Director, Lisa Jordan from Accent American Inc, and our Project Managers, Brian Crane of Triple C Systems, Dennis Napoli of Gecko Carpet Care, and Ken Jordan of Accent American Inc. The Board approves our projects, and works together to recruit the other cleaning companies who participate, recruits other volunteers, plans out the scope of work, and works with our sponsors to get cleaning products donated for the group to use.
